Yesterday I watched the Memorial for Michael Jackson at my sisters. I wanted to be with those closest to me, my boys. They must have thought I went “batty” crying watching the T.V. I did pretty good until the very end. I wasn’t just mourning M.J. alone it is those I have lost & the harsh reality that we all have a day. It is like the snow ball effect for me. I can’t watch something like that & not think of those in my own life that are gone. The magnitude off loss is sometimes not evident until someone in your life is gone. Just the littlest thing can trigger a memory a scent, song or an event .I long for them to be here. I needed to get out & be part of the community. We made it a day at the Downey pool for free swim went back to my roots, DHS alumni. Now the boys are following suit Austin is playing & training for the DHS water polo team next year & Preston is a jr. lifeguard. We are so proud of all our boy’s!
