Could I have found the perfect match? Our Amazon parrot that only says “Hello, I love you, Pretty bird & By.” What a soothing thing I have found in his limited vocabulary. Although often he is loud and obnoxious he is there all the time. I feed him, give him water and rub his head a few time a day. Talking to him & touching him is soothing, his pupils dilate when I touch him. He comes with no emotion, huge expectation’s, or a role to fill.Gosh only if life so simple.
